At tru community, we like to keep it simple. Each fitness class, whether its cycling, yoga, barre, rowing or a combination, is a flat rate of $15. Packages are available, including single, 5, 10, and 20 session packages.
What kind of bike do I need to take cycling classes?
Any bike will do. Our instructors reference metrics used on many well-known brands as well as a scale of 1 - 10 based on your own level of comfort.
For off-bike classes (sculpt/barre/yoga) what type of equipment do I need?
If you have the customary equipment used in classes, fantastic. If not, no worries – you can use everyday items such water bottles, soup cans, pillows and chairs.
What happens if I miss a class?
This is one of the wonderful parts of having a virtual class. If you are suddenly unable to make class (or simply forgot), we will email you a recording of the class so that you can work out at a time that is convenient for you. Please note that all recordings expire 24 hours from the end of class.
How late can I sign up for a class?
You can sign up for class right up until class time however we request that you sign up no later than 15 minutes prior to class. This will help your instructor as well as your fellow community members avoid potential technical difficulties that can arise.
How late can I cancel a class?
This is another wonderful aspect of having a virtual class; you're not taking up a spot someone else could have booked. While you are able to cancel right up until class time we kindly ask that out of respect for your instructor, you cancel your reservation no later than one hour prior to class.
How much are tru talks?
FREE; we just ask that you sign up.
Ruth Zukerman is the real deal. Long before I knew of her history as one of the pioneers of indoor cycling, I was addicted to her classes. She makes exercise a happy experience. The moment I learned Ruth had started tru community,
I became a member. I’m happy again.
